Local-first clock

Alarms, timers and settings stay on your device.

No ads or sale

NexClock ships no advertising or analytics SDKs and sells no data.

Reliable alarms

Alarms use the system clock and survive a reboot.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the NexClock Android app and the public NexClock product pages operated by NextEra.One. It is written to explain how the app accesses, uses, stores and shares user data for Google Play review and for people using the app.

NexClock does not require a NextEra.One account. If that changes, this policy will be updated before account features are released.

2. Data NexClock accesses or stores on your device

NexClock accesses data only for the features users would expect from this app.

Data type Purpose Where it is stored
Alarms, timers and world clocks Ring, count down and show times you set. Local app storage plus the Android alarm clock (system).
App settings Remember sound, snooze, language and theme. Local app storage on your device.

3. Data collected by NextEra.One

NextEra.One does not operate an account service, analytics backend, advertising backend or sync backend for NexClock. NexClock does not upload your alarms and timers to NextEra.One.

The public website may receive ordinary web server request information from visitors, such as IP address, browser type and requested page, through the hosting provider used to publish these static pages. The app itself does not send your data to that website.

4. Data sharing and user-initiated transfers

NexClock does not sell personal and sensitive user data. Data can leave your device in these user-initiated cases:

  • Alarms and timers are shown as Android notifications on your device.
  • If you install or open the app through Google Play, Google processes Play Store data under Google's policies.

5. Permissions

NexClock asks for Android permissions only when needed for its features.

  • Notifications: show Android alarm and timer notifications after you schedule them
  • Exact alarms: ring alarms and timers at the precise time you set
  • Run after restart: restore alarms after the device reboots

6. Retention and deletion

  • Your alarms and timers remain in NexClock's local store until you delete them or clear everything.
  • Local settings remain on device until you change them or uninstall the app.
  • NextEra.One cannot recover deleted local data because it is not synced to a NextEra.One server.
  • You can also use Android Settings > Apps > NexClock > Storage > Clear storage to remove local app data.

7. Security

NexClock relies on Android runtime permissions, Android app sandboxing and local device storage. Because NexClock does not run a cloud sync service, there is no NextEra.One server copy of your alarms and timers. Anything you choose to share into other apps is governed by those providers' practices.

8. Children

NexClock is not directed to children. It is a general-purpose tool intended for users who are allowed to manage their own content on their Android device.

9. Changes and contact

NextEra.One may update this policy when NexClock changes how it handles data. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date.
